The boys and girls track team traveled to Hartington on Tuesday April 11 to show off their skills. Both the boys and girls track team did not perform as well as they had hoped, but the girls team still placed 2nd and the boys team placed 5th, as well as a few individuals doing very well also.
Freshman Jace Panning got 1st in the 100 meter dash, Junior Jordan Arens got 1st in both the 1600 and 3200 meter run, Junior Ellie Tramp got first in the 100 meter hurdles as well as the 300 meter hurdles.
The girls varsity team of freshman Jaycee Anthony, junior Caitlin Gunther, senior Blair Jordan and junior Ellie Tramp placed 1st in the 4x100 as well as the girls varsity team of Rylie Arens, Elizabeth Wortmann, Sophia Wortmann and Kaylee Mauch placing 1st in the 4x800.

4x100 relay -Crofton’s varsity team of Jaycee Anthony, Caitlin Gunther, Blair Jordan and Ellie Tramp placed 1st 52.80, while the Jv team of Samantha Strunk, Jada Allen, Lillian Earley, and Lexi Wiebelhaus placed 7th 59.39.
4x400 relay -Crofton’s varsity team of Kaylee Mauch, Elizabeth Wortmann, Cassie Allen, and Rylie Arens placed 2nd 4:33, while the Jv team of Emily Gunther, Ella Reifenrath, Pamela Dennis, and Lillian Earley placed 5th 5:11.
4x800 relay -Crofton’s varsity team of Rylie Arens, Elizabeth Wortmann, Sophia Wortmann and Kaylee Mauch placed 1st 11:08.

In the 300 meter Hurdles Jackson Lynde placed 5th 5:58.
4x100 relay the Crofton varsity team of William Steffen, Jace Foxhoven, Jace Panning, and Sam Pinkleman placed 3rd 47.84, while the Jv team of Robbie Fisher, Wesley Lucht, Tyler Barns and Jackson Lynde came in 4th 49.76.
4x400 relay the varsity team of Edison Sudbeck, Seth Pinkleman, Wyatt Tramp, and Simon McFarland placed 4th 4:02.
High jump Simon McFarland placed 9th.
Pole vault Brothers Sam and Seth Pinkleman placed 4th, and Wyatt Tramp placed 7th.
In long jump Jace Panning placed 3rd, Jace Foxhoven placed 5th, Robbie Fisher placed 6th, and William Steffen placed 9th.
In the triple jump Jace Foxhoven placed 4th, Sam Pinkleman placed 6th, Simon McFarland placed 7th, and Jackson Lynde placed 8th.
In shot put Wesley Lucht placed 7th, Tyson Sanger Placed 12th, Sam Birger placed 15th, and Anthony Steffen placed 19th.
In discus throw Tyson Sanger placed 21st and Anthony Steffen placed 22nd.
