Main Street benefits main street, Crofton

Main Street Treasures exceeded the $200,000 giving amount at the end of 2022, and has already started 2023 with a number of large donations to the community, and work being around the town.

Some of those projects and donations included:
New flooring in the front room (bar room) and entry of the auditorium - Mary Ann's Draperies and Bill Potts did the flooring and installation. Donated as a major sponsor for the Crofton Dam Race.

Painted the light poles in downtown Crofton - Miller Painting did the painting $25 in CCC Bucks to each of the school bus drivers in January $20 in CCC Bucks to each of the graduating CHS seniors Donated 3 picnic tables to Crofton Volunteer Fields - Purchased them from Crofton Lumber Company, and they donated another table and their labor.

Donated $5,000 to the Crofton Baseball Association's seating/roofing project Gave $3 concession stand vouchers to each of the boys' little league, Ponies, Legion Juniors & Seniors, and girls' softball players and coaches.

Gave money to the Crofton Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Donated to Lewis & Clark SRA as a NGPC Park Supporter Donated money to Glad Tidings Camp.

Held a shopping day and sent private donations to people with medical needs. Sent Senior Citizens Center meal tickets to people who are experiencing medical issues or loss of close family members.

Main Street Treasures will be part of the "Backroad Tour" that is ongoing in Northeast Nebraska, and the Board hopes to generate extra funds to continue projects with that boost as well.
