The Crofton Community Childcare Center committee held a meeting last month and updated some of the group’s specifics, with plans to do a community survey, create a non-profit and tour some local centers.
Information received from the group’s last meeting said that the committee had chosen the “official” name: Crofton Community Childcare Center, with new logo nearby this story.

The Board is currently working to create a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and the group has planned a Childcare needs survey that they hope to deliver to the public in late July.
The group has also continued researching other facilities by taking tours of local and area childcare centers. They reported having “significant discussion on location and building needs.”
The group has created a social media page, and updates should be appearing regularly in the Journal.
