Quiet Riot, Chris Cagle headliners at Fair

The 2023 Knox County Fair is coming up, starting next Wednesday, August 9, at the fairgrounds near Bloomfield – with musical headliners Chris Cagle and Quiet Riot headed to the stage, and weekend full of other events.

Wednesday, Aug. 9 the fairgrounds open with performances from Faith Keepers & JTM and Jacob Daniels, all gospel song performances.

Thursday, Aug. 10 the day begins at 7 a.m. with an omlette feed in the pavilion, and then D.C. Lynch will arrive at 6 p.m. for the Carnival attractions to open before the 7 p.m. Bull-A-Rama kicks off. Soundz Unlimited will close out that evening with music in the beer garden.

Friday, Aug. 11 will start with bingo, “Too Much Fun,” J.D. Bear Wood Carving, and a visit by Critters Encounter with multiple shows. At 6 p.m. the D.C. Lynch rides will start back up and Quiet Riot will take the stage at 8 p.m. Following the concert Eastern Heights will perform at the beer garden.

Saturday, Aug. 12 has many of the main events for the weekend including previously mentioned attractions, as well as a 2 p.m. cornhole tournament, 2:30 p.m. demolition derby, Colors da Clown for facepainting and balloons, and headlining country music artist Chris Cagle at 8 p.m.
On Sunday the carnival will be open, as well as bingo and other mentioned events, as well as the 1 p.m. Northeast Nebraska Tractor Pull event, kids pedal pull at 2 p.m. and more music into the early afternoon.

Admission will be charged at the gate, with a bit higher prices on Friday and Saturday nights for the larger shows. More information can be found on the Knox County Fair website and social media pages.
