Arens opens office in downtown Crofton

Crofton has welcomed another new business to 2nd Street.

Megan Arens, wife of Brent Arens, has opened My Pain Doc; a chronic pain management clinic, located in the building next to People’s Grocery. The space that was until recently occupied by Gavin’s Point Veterinary.

“We specialize in chronic pain management, so we can treat joint pain, migraines, and also do some things to help fiber myalgia.” said Arens.
Megan was raised in Yankton S.D., and attended the University of South Dakota for her undergraduate, graduate and master’s degrees. She then went to work in Norfolk at My Pain Doc, where she has been for seven years.

For now, she will be available in Crofton on Fridays, and hopes to increase hours as business picks up. At the moment, she will continue at the Norfolk location for the rest of the week.

Her, her husband and their three children are Crofton residents, and Arens said she was “excited for less of a commute.”
