The Crofton Community Club’s Cruisin’ Day Car Show and Grillfest will be held in Crofton’s South Park this weekend on Saturday, Aug. 27.
The event will start for the drivers with registration from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the full Show will begin for the public at 11 a.m. Trophy presentation for the award winners has been scheduled for 3 p.m.
There will be drawings and prizes throughout the day for the car show participants, and games in the park from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for kids that attend. Planned kids’ games are face painting by the CHS FCCLA members, kiddie train rides, two bouncy houses from Restore Church, a basketball free throw contest, a chalk art contest and a corn hole tournament.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the St. Rose Knights of Columbus will be holding the annual Grillfest event with food for all ages, and a pop stand will be open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Crofton’s downtown businesses may have special deals that day as well.
From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. “Mike & Jay” will have live music in the gazebo.
