Cameryn Fiscus (sophomore)

Cameryn Fiscus is 16 years old. She joined journalism because she wanted to get more involved and learn more about the community. Cameryn wants to have better writing skills than what she has now. Cameryn is really looking forward to going to games, taking pictures, and also getting to interview everyone. She really likes what assignments we have had so far and also being with the class. Cameryn uses social media all the time to keep updated on everything happening in the world. She likes to be in a quiet place just to write and get her homework done. Cameryn is learning to get the right information from the person she is speaking to.


Seth Haberman (senior)

Seth Haberman is 17 years old. He didn’t get to pick journalism, he had it picked for him. He wants to get better at his writing skills. Seth wasn’t sure at first, but he is looking forward to not having so much homework since other classes have quite a bit. Seth likes to pick better words and read over everything before turning it in. He uses social media almost every day to make sure he is up to date on everything. He thinks about questions about that specific person so that the person can answer them better. Seth researches a lot to make sure everything is right and there won’t be mistakes while writing his articles.


Sam Pinkelman (sophomore)

Sam Pinkelman is 15 years old. Sam really didn't want to join journalism, but he has already tried all the other classes that are offered the same block. Sam wants to improve his writing skills, and so far he likes it. He is a person that just goes with the flow. He uses social media at least once a day to keep himself updated on what's going on. Sam gets all his work done ahead of time so he won't have to stress when the deadline comes up. Sam is using voice recording during interviews so he can go back to it when he is writing an article.

Seth Pinkelman (junior) 

Seth Pinkelman is 17 years old. Seth joined journalism because he had no other classes to join. In journalism class, he wants to become a better writer. His best qualities are being fun, factual, and interesting when he is writing something. Seth uses social media quite a bit to catch up on everything he has missed in that period. He doesn't handle stress very well when making deadlines, Seth stated, “yolo you only live once.”  He makes sure he writes “the truth and nothing but the truth'' while interviewing people.

Grant Shieffer (sophomore)


Grant Shieffer is 15 years old. Grant joined journalism because Jack Shieffer recommended it and said it would be fun. He wants to get better at writing and get to know people better. Grant likes to be creative and think outside the box in order to get more information on a topic. He doesn't really go on any social media, the only apps he uses are Snapchat and TikTok. Grant pushes things off until the night that his project or homework is due. He is learning to go to multiple websites or sources to make sure he has good information.


Jack Shieffer (sophomore) 

Jack Shieffer is 16 years old. He joined journalism since he heard it was fun from his sister and friends that have already taken it and they said they enjoyed it a lot. Jack really likes Mrs. Baker, so he wanted to join the class and he loves it. He wants to get better at writing and go to more events. He is looking forward to doing things for Warrior Way News and writing articles for the paper. He stated, “I am really good at grammar and tell stories very well.” He uses social media a lot over the whole day. Jack doesn't manage stress very well; he just powers through it and gets to the point to make the deadline. 


Rayvin Strivens (senior)

Rayvin Strivens is 17 years old. Rayvin didn't really want to be in this class, but after a while it became fun. She really likes to see all the different ideas people thought about when writing questions to ask. Rayvin wishes to gain more knowledge of people and get better at grammar and typing in general. Rayvin’s favorite part about journalism is getting to know more about people and what things they are interested in. Rayvin doesn't really go on social media very much to see what is going on in the world. She is more often on Snapchat, TikTok, or Instagram. She makes sure to quote exactly what a person says, and if she is writing an article, she makes sure she is getting all the information she needs.
