Crofton's Choir was represented by four talented singers, senior Jeffrey Birger, senior Araya Nielsen, junior Elizabeth Wortmann, and sophomore Jack Schieffer, in the NMEA All-State Chorus in Lincoln on November 16 through 18. On the following Monday, all four traveled to Lincoln again to sing the national anthem in Memorial Stadium prior to the D1 State Championship football game between Clarkson Leigh and Neligh-Oakdale.
The quartet was chosen by the NSAA from over 200 auditions from across the state to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner."
