The Crofton FFA chapter will be sending one Parliamentary Procedure team, one Conduct of Chapter Meetings(CCM) team, and a Creed Speaker to compete in the state convention in March. On Wednesday, November 30 the chapter sent four teams and two Creed Speakers to compete in the district Leadership Development Contests in Madison.
The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team of freshmen Callie Olson, Karoline Schendt, Addyson Ostermeyer, Jaisie Janssen, Jacee Anthony, Ellie Foxhoven, and Jordan Steffen earned first place. The senior Parliamentary Procedure team of seniors Garret Buschkamp and Megan Tramp, and juniors Emma Bilka, Kaylee Mauch, Josie Anthony and Jenna Jackson came in second place. Freshman Sophia Wortmann received first place in creed speaking and will also be competing at state.
The senior Parli Pro team of seniors Madisen Petersen and Simon McFarland, and sophomores Rylie Arens, Madelyn Loecker, Cameryn Fiscus and Wyatt Tramp earned fourth place. The CCM team of freshmen Carter Steffen, Tyson Sanger, Anthony Steffen, Addison Saul, Tylee Cooper, Lauren Loecker and Ashlynn Schieffer received a red ribbon. Freshman Jacee Anthony earned fourth place in creed speaking.
