The Niobrara-Verdigre Cougars and junior varsity golf teams participated in a triangular with Stuart and Summerland last week, with the Cougars finishing in third in the field only by five strokes, trailing Stuart’s varsity 193 first-place finish, and Summerland’s 203.

The family of David and Darlene Ausdemore has requested a card shower in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary on April 29. Crofton’s Easter Candy Run was held Saturday, April 16, in Crofton’s North City Park. Over 225 patrons attended while ages 0-4th grade toted Easter baskets of candy and signed up for door prizes, with 23 winners! To learn more, get your copy of the Crofton Journal!

The 2022 Knights of Columbus Hoop Shoot was held in Grand Island at Central Catholic High School this past Saturday, April 9. Jenna Tramp of Crofton finished in third-place, making 21 of her 25 shots. Blake Connot finished in first place shooting 25 of 25 of his shots.
