Crofton Squad named Heroes... The Crofton Rescue Squad was the recipient of the Modern Woodmen's Hometown Heroes Award on Tuesday, March 30. Business representative Tammy Matuska presented the squad with a check for $100 to be donated to a charity or nonprofit as well as $100 for use by the squad. The squad voted to donate to the American Legion elevator project. The donation to the squad will be used toward another defibrillator at a public place in Crofton.

Fundraiser features "Pi Day..." Frannie Guenther picks up a pie that he ordered from the Crofton Senior Center for their belated "Pi Day" fundraiser. Pictured with Frannie are volunteers Janet Lammers, Pat Wakeley, Nancy Schieffer, and manager Mary Sawatzke. The center sold 78 pies baked by 27 individuals. The center has planned to reopen for in house meals on April 19.
