Postcard meeting held... The annual “pink postcard” meeting for Knox County taxing entities was held at the Barn at God’s Country last week with a roomful of taxpayers present to hear presentations from the City of Crofton, Knox County and Northeast Community College.

For the first time since 2012, the Crofton Warriors have a 4-0 record. After struggling in the first quarter, the Warriors defeated the Hartington-Newcastle Wildcats 58-38, on Friday, September 15. Both the Crofton Girls Varsity and JV Cross Country teams placed first as a team on Friday, September 9 at the Norfolk Catholic Invitational at Skyview Lake in Norfolk. On Friday, September 15, the Warriors will run in O'Neill. At FCCLA Nationals freshman Olivia Walter competed in instructional video design level one in downtown Denver, Colorado. She placed 7th with her video titled “How to Bathe a Baby”. Crofton family consumer sciences teacher Jonelle Theone, Olivia Walter, and freshman Sierra Tomsu got the chance to go to FCCLA Nationals from July 2nd to July 6th...
